Program Planner instructions
Please read these instructions for using the Program Planner, which is
designed to help you choose the program and courses relevant to you and to
plan when you want to take them. The Program Planner does not enable you to
enrol in a program or courses. Read the
How
do I Enrol? page for information about the application and enrolment
process.
Step 1: Select a program
First decide which field you're interested in (e.g. Environment) and then
select a program or qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma in Mineral Resources).

Step 2: Select a course
When you select a program, the Course Selection table (see illustration below)
is filled with the courses relevant to your chosen program. To read the courses'
descriptions click on the course code. The
Units
column tells you how many units each course is worth. The Part column tells you
whether the course is considered a core or elective course.

Step 3: Calculate the number of units you need to complete your chosen program
Use the Units Calculator (see illustration below) to keep a track of how
many units you’ve selected and how many you need to complete your
qualification. Depending on which program you've chosen each course is
categorised as Part A, B, C or D.

Step 4: Now access the Program Planner (feature
currently unavailable)
